From Kelleys Island Ferry dock: 

  1. Left on East Lakeshore Drive
  2. Right on Division Street
  3. Left on Bookerman Road
  4. Left on Huntington Lane
  5. Arrive at 135 Huntington Lane on the right.

Kelleys Island is the largest of Ohio’s Lake Erie Islands and welcomes thousands of visitors each year with its blend of nature, history and contemporary attractions.

 

  • The world’s best example of glacial scoring is here, as well as one of Ohio’s prized spots for watching migrating birds.
  • Rent a bike or golf cart to experience the diversity of the island with its lush forests, fragrant vineyards and streets dotted with historic island homes.
  • Bring your own watercraft and explore the rocky coastline.
  • Anglers find some of the best fishing off this island, and scuba divers will find access to several nearby shipwrecks.
  • Kelleys Island State Park offers six miles of hiking trails and a large sandy beach.
  • The island boasts a winery and microbrewery, plus special events held throughout the year.

Getting Here


From Cleveland/East

Take OH-2/90 west towards Toledo. Cross Sandusky Bay on the Edison Memorial Bridge. Exit OH-269 marked Lakeside/Marblehead - keep LEFT. Road dead ends, turn RIGHT onto OH-163 for approximately 5 miles. Once you pass the Marblehead sign the boat is on your left about 1/2 mile down the road. Go under the overhead trestle and turn left into the Kelleys Island Ferry Boat Line.

 

From Columbus/South

Take Route 4 traveling north to Route 2.  Take OH-2/90 west towards Toledo. Follow directions for travel from Cleveland.

 

From Toledo/West

Take OH-2/90 east towards Cleveland. Get off at the OH-269 exit marked Lakeside/Marblehead - stay to your left. Road dead ends, turn RIGHT onto OH-163. Stay straight on OH-163 for approximately 5 miles. Once you pass the Marblehead sign the boat is on your left about 1/2 mile down the road. Go under the overhead trestle and turn left into the Kelleys Island Ferry Boat Line.
